Independance Day features an allcountry Fourth of July Parade with "the works!" Marching bands, batontwirling majorettes, floats, decorated cars, pretty girls crowned queen, horses flags-the traditional memories of home-town celebrations come to life. The parade attracts many thousands of visitors to line the streete, search the Arts & Crafts Outdoor Fair for treasures, and finish the day with a spectacular fireworks display-all planned annually by the July Fourth Parade Committee.

Additionally, the community is served by the Chamber of Commerce, Historical Society, American Legion, Rod & Gun Club, Eastern Star, Twigs, Grange and Masons. Junion citizens have civic involvement in Scouting and 4-H.
